Samantha Dols

Founder | President

A proud native of Portland, Oregon, Samantha has always been an advocate for creativity and making seemingly unexpected avenues of communication expected. She has worked with Sundance, Tribeca, and Nantucket film festivals before moving to DC to help start the Washington West Film Festival, where she worked as Director of Operations and Director of Programming. She consults for the Open Society Foundation and Comparative and International Education Society and will begin her PhD in Communications at American University this fall.  A lover of blues music, world maps, and hip-hop dancing, Samantha is happiest when sharing stories around a campfire with family, friends, and unlikely guests.
